The Durocher Family

| April 17th

To say it was a privilege to photograph this family, would be an understatement. Words can not even express how wonderful a family they are, and they truly put the meaning “families that pray together, stay together” to life. They put prayer and living a Christian life to action, and its shown by the joy each of them have and fulfillment in Christ alone. I love you guys, and I am (and our church family) so thrilled that you have blessed us with your unity in Christ and the brotherly and sisterly love…but I will say-you will be leaving a big hole in our hearts when you leave :) I mean that in the best of ways. God bless you guys, and we will be praying for you and your gifts that God has graciously given you. Thank you for this sweet service to others. Please visit their site HERE

Awesome pictures….well, you’re probably almost to Lodi by now…will be praying that you shine the light there as much as you have impacted Lompoc!!! Gets sweeter and sweeter each visit from you…and we look forward to your next west coast turn next year!! I know you’ve shown that we can and must be bold and get out there and bring some folks in to hear God’s word preached and be saved!!!

1 Peter 4:11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

    Lord be with you

Staycation, avila beach

| April 8th

We had a sweet little staycation recently, and it was lovely!! We were surrounded by friends, the smell of the beach and the sound of the crashing of the waves as we feel asleep… We also stayed in the cutest beach house ever, that was kissing the shore line. This week, I decided to take another “staycation” to recharge, relax and to do those tasks that no one loves-but have to get done. Like cleaning the little nooks and crannies of your space, and this includes my digital space too! Which brings me to a few film and iPhone shots I took of our Avila Beach staycation!

If these two sweet faces look familiar, its because I did their engagement sessions-Love these guys to bits and pieces. Click here to see them all dolled up :)

I may or may not have showered the entire day, and walked around in my jammies at the house, but we did take one night to get dressed up and eat an amazing meal! And is this sweet face looks familiar to you as well, is because the famous Hunters bless this blog, and our life-a ton! Here is a recent time with them here!

Make sure to take some time to recharge, rest, unplug, be in the Word and be thankful for the little things! I’m thankful I have a job that allows me to rest when I need to, AND I’m thankful I have another job (photography) that allows me to get really excited about my clients lives, their images and sweet memories of their life’s memories!

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! (‭Psalm‬ ‭8‬:‭3-9)
