So one of my amazing brides ranted and raved about the presentation of my wedding packaging. I don’t say that to brag by any means-I say that because I was shocked at the feedback! I didn’t expect to hear such excitement, but then it dawned on me HOW important the details to presentation really are in the whole client experience! Also after I posted a few images of my new logo on my boxes, and my wax stamp-I had a few photographers ask for details as to where I got my products. This is not all of my packaging, but the others are from the same company and include bags, tissue paper and thank you cards. Here are the links below.
This lovely DVD cover above is from Cypress Albums
I don’t think you have to pay a lot to get great packaging, but I will say its worth it to get the good ribbon!! lol Even the Michaels Arts and Crafts store doesn’t sell the quality that I perfer. So I went on-line on Etsy and found this beautiful ribbon.
My favorite of all my packaging are these wax stamps. I feel in love with the ideal of a wax stamps when I was living overseas and got my first wax sticks and seal!! They look awesome and were so unique, but what a meticulous process…so I opted for the pre-made seals. I got my wax seals from Nostalgic Impressions My boxes for prints are from H-B Photo and all stamps to seal my cards (not shown) are with embossing powered in gold. The contract envelops are from Paper Source and they are called “string and button” envelopes.
Wither you are a photographer or future client-I hope you get to enjoy these examples. Or better yet, as a creative photographer-I hope you can create something as unique as you and have just as much fun as I do!
ps here are a few iphone shots I found from Facebook.
